Cookie policy

This website sets no cookies.

That is neither an oversight nor a cost-saving measure, but a decision. We serve static pages, run no sessions, embed no third-party tools and do not recognise you on a later visit. The one exception is the live chat, and that only runs once you start it yourself – see below. There is therefore nothing we would need your consent for – and that is why you see no consent banner here.

What that means in practice

No cookies. Neither our own nor anyone else’s, neither for sessions nor for settings. Your choice of language lives in the page address, not in a stored value.

No third-party embeds. No maps from Google, no fonts from external servers, no videos from video platforms, no social media buttons. The map extract on the contact page is an image on our own server, not an embedded map. Unless you start the live chat yourself, everything your browser loads comes from hanobox.de.

No analytics with recognition. We do not count visitors by browser fingerprint and we build no profiles.

No advertising, no tracking. Nothing on this website serves to market or pass on your data.

What does happen

When you open a page, your browser transmits technically necessary information to our server, including your IP address. Our hosting provider records these requests in server log files. For how long and for what purpose is set out in our privacy policy.

When you submit the contact form, you send us the details you entered there. No cookie is required for that either.

The live chat

At the bottom right you will find a “Start chat” button. Nothing happens before you click it: no script is loaded, no connection to our chat server is made and nothing is stored.

Only when you click do we load the chat window from chat.hanobox.de – a server we run ourselves, with no data passed to third parties. Your browser then stores what a running conversation requires: an identifier for your conversation, so your messages are not lost when you move to another page. This data is necessary for the service you explicitly requested by clicking, and therefore needs no separate consent.

Close the browser tab and the session ends. If you never use the chat, your browser remains untouched.

If this changes

Should we ever embed something that recognises you without your involvement, we will change this page and obtain your consent beforehand. As long as this page says we set no cookies, that is exactly what applies.
